Workshop on Global Teamwork

Purpose of the workshop
The purpose of this year's workshop was to bring together international and Australian-based scholars who are interested in topics related to global teamwork. Topics for the workshop included, but were not limited to, general research on constructs that have important implications for teamwork in a cross-cultural and/or geographically dispersed environment (e.g., trust, motivation, cohesion, leadership, and others). Research in the following areas was of special interest:
- Multicultural teamwork
- Distributed teamwork
- Virtual teams
- Cross-cultural leadership and followership
- Leadership at a distance
- Cross-cultural management and management of geographic distance
- Top Management Teams of multinational organizations
